On December 11, 1942 a beautiful baby girl was born to Mr. Robert Lee Haynes and Mrs. Ruby Lee Franklin Haynes. They named her Sara Lee.
Sarah attended public schools in Livingston, Texas. At a very early age she accepted Christ in her life and united with the Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church. In later years she attended Spirit of Integrity Worship Center.
Sara was employed with M.D. Anderson Cancer Center for several years. And later was employed with Health South Rehabilitation Central Supply. She retired from Memorial Northeast Hospital where she was a sterile processing tech.
On December 28, 1958 she married the love of her life. In 2004 they returned to Livingston, Texas.
She was preceded in death by: her parents; son: Fred Anthony Bailey; sisters: Betty Washington, Thelma McGowen; grandchildren: Cedric English, Demarcus Bailey.
She leaves to cherish her beautiful memories: A loving and devoted husband of 62 years: Mr. Freddie Lee Bailey of Livingston, Texas; daughters: Hattie English, Patricia Ann Bryant (Frank), Dwana Bailey Lewis (Joey), all of Houston, Texas. 7 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren; sisters: Charlene Lust (Bobby) of Goodrich, Texas, Theresa Haynes of Livingston, Texas; Brothers: Clyde Haynes of Livingston, Texas, Robert Haynes (Juanita) of Corrigan, Texas, Gary Haynes (Cynthia) of Houston, Texas. Best Friend/Daughter-In-Law: Marvie Shaw of Houston, Texas. A host of other relatives and friends.
