On May 4, 1977, in Corrigan, Texas, a handsome baby boy was born to James Patrick McGowen and Sandra Smith Rigsby, they named him Patrick Smith, AKA “Big Baby’. Patrick grew up in Corrigan, Texas and attended public school where he played football and also graduated there. 


At an early age he attended Providence #2 Baptist Church. Patrick was a wonderful provider; he was the glue that held everyone together. He loved family and he loved his children. He also loved to tell funny stories, movies, food and chasing money. Big Baby had a heart of gold, and he never ever met a stranger. 


He was proceeded in death by his brother: Joseph McGowen; Grandmother: Helen Wesby; Grandfather: Carey Wesby (Dadaw); Nephew: ZeVonte Sturgis. 


Patrick “Big Baby” Smith leaves to cherish his precious memories his mother: Sandra Smith Rigsby; Father: James Patrick McGowen; Mother of his children: Tiffany Bogany; Children: Shineace Smith, Travion Smith, Aarron Smith, Zye’Meira Smith, Tye’Keira Smith, Ex’Zavior Smith and Kameron Smith. Sisters: Michelle McGowen, Kaye Terrell (Terel), LaQuita Jones (Willie), Tamika Moore. Brothers: Howard Rigsby, Dale Rigsby, Rodrick Jackson. Aunt: Patricia Rigsby. Nieces and nephews: Keia, Josh, Jasmin, Kay Kay, Jaden “Juda Bug”, Synithia, Donovan. Great Niece: Karnen and a host of other relatives and friends.
