Linda Joyce Walker Belt

Linda Joyce Walker Belt, was born June 8, 1947 to Rev. Charles Manuel Graham and Martha Walker in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, In October 1947 they moved to Texas where Linda grew up and attended public schools at Dunbar High School in Livingston, Texas. In 1961 she moved to Houston, Texas and graduated from Jack Yates High School. At an early age she accepted Christ and united with the Anderson Chapel Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Trower, after moving to Houston she attended El Bethel Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Rugley Monroe Jr.
On August 31, 1970 she married the love of her life Mr. Elmo A. Belt, through this union there are two children: Rosalind Lynette Walker Belt and Carla Denise Belt.
She was preceded in death by her mother: Martha Walker; and brother: Theodore Curry
She leaves to cherish her memories: A loving and devoted husband: Elmo A. Belt of Houston, TX; Daughters: Rosalind Lynette Walker Belt of Livingston, TX; Carla Denise Belt of Houston, TX; Great Aunt: Ms. Rosemary Dewalt of Livingston, TX. A host of other nieces, nephews, loving family and friends.
