Ervin Mouton

January 29, 1932 – February 10, 2018

God embellished His world for eighty-seven years with the beauty of the life of Ervin Mouton. He departed this life peacefully on Saturday, Feburary 10, 2018. Ervin was the seventh sibling born of eight children to the late parents Willie and Larura Burns Mouton, in Rayne, Louisiana.

At an early age he united with Starlight Baptist Church in Rayne, Louisiana. Where he grew up and he attended Acadia Parish Training School. As a young adult, Ervin decided to relocate to Texas. He worked dutifully over thirty years of loyalty.

Ervin was preceded in death by his two sisters: Cecile Joseph; and Julia Mouton; Four Brothers: Cornelius; Clyde; Joseph; and Willie Mouton.

Those left to cherish the fond memories are his beloved, devoted Dorothy Rogers, and her family. Also, his loving and joyous lifetime brother, Eddie Mouton; Step-Brother: Joe Washington.

His Special Nieces: Priscilla Pierre; Lucille Guidry (Rayne LA.); Lucille Broady Marie Julian also Tina Broady (Health Care); Minister Clara Clark; nephews and of relatives and friends.
