Graveside Services for Ms. Eliza Fay Adair, 82, of Houston, Texas will be held Monday, May 4, 2020 at 11:00 am at Grace Hill Cemetery in Blanchard, Texas with Pastor Allen Rice officiating. Eliza was born on November 5, 1937 in Point Blank, Texas to parents Mr. Andrew and Minnie Lee Womack, and she passed away April 19, 2020 in Houston, Texas.
Eliza known as Fay, attended St. Marion Baptist Church. She later married Rodney Adair Jr. and became widowed. Eliza Adair worked at Bellaire Hospital in Houston, Texas and became a supervisor in housekeeping. Later she worked in home health where she retired. She had an eye for creativity. She enjoyed decorating, sewing, and drawing. She was known for caring for others. She gave her last to make others happy.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband; sisters: Freddie Mae McCormick, Katherine Johnson, and brother: Andrew B. Womack
She leaves to cherish her memories: a son: Eddie Ray Adair of Houston, Texas; granddaughter: Quena yolande Williams; great grandsons: Cameron Jacob Edwards, and Gabriel Christian Ayers of Houston, Texas; sister: Lois Dirden of Houston, Texas; special friends: Lawrence of Richmond, Texas, and Joann, Danny, and Damian of Houston, Texas; and a host of loving nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
Due to the unfortunate circumstances of COVID-19 funeral directors ask that you wear a face mask and gloves to the services.
