Deborah D. Ivory

The Essence of Her Life

On August 19, 1954 a beautiful baby girl who was named Deborah Dewan Ivory, was born to the loving parents of Ara P. and Willie Lee Ivory in Detroit, Michigan.

Deborah accepted Christ at an Early Age and was a Faithful Member and Follower of her Son Pastor George G. Wyatt Sr. until her Demise!

Deborah Graduated from Cooley High School in Detroit, Michigan, and later went to College to be a Librarian at Angelina College. During her spare time, Deborah Loved going to Church where she served as a Faithful Usher and also Loved spending time with her Friends playing cards.

On February 26, 2025, God, in his infinite wisdom, chose to call Deborah home! She is preceded in death by Her Father and Mother, her sister Mary E Ivory, and her brothers Darnell L Ivory, Gregory O Ivory, and William B. Ivory.

She leaves to cherish her memories, 2Loving Daughters: Toyia D. (Eld. George) Wyatt and Jasmine A Ivory; 4 Sisters: Elzora Smith, Cynthia Scott, Willie Mae Wilder, and Alva Ivory; 1 Brother: Franklin Ivory; 1 Aunt: Corrie Adams; 7 grandchildren: Kristina(Stephens) Childress, John (Veronica) Petty, Mary (Dextan) Petty Berry, Micheal Emmanuel, Briana Wyatt, Isaiah Wyatt, and George Wyatt Jr.; 8 Great-Grandkids: Amya, Nalyaha, Jerimiah, Adaniyah, Brooklyn, Carter, Nameah, and Eris; and a host of nieces, nephews and Friends.
